Practice Excellence Awards: Fantastic feedback
The client voting stage of the Practice Excellence Awards has officially closed after an overwhelming response of 1,813 survey submissions.
The scale of response is outstanding. The results will be compiled into tailored benchmark reports to show participating firms how they compare against their peers.
The overall satisfaction ratings for the 70 participating firms were very high at 3.7 out of 4, but there were some blips in the figures. In response to the question, "How important do you feel you are to your accountant?", the overall rating was 3.3. As one respondent put it, "It may not seem important to them but I like to sort out things imeadiately for peace of mind - especially when fines can be applied if you do not meet the deadlines. They seem to think tomorrow is OK."
More insights like this will underpin a major body of market research on client perceptions and service standards across the profession. As well as the reports for individual firms, the Practice Excellence Awards survey will help us present an overview that will make interesting reading for any practitioner.
Many thanks to all the clients and firms for taking part in our inaugural awards and sponsors Sage, PTP and CCH for making this project possible.
The next stage will see our panel of expert judges sifting through the results to chose the top three firms in each category to go forward to the AccountingWEB vote. For a recap on how the awards process works, take a look here.
