Accounting website developer PracticeWEB has made another direct play to the small practitioner market after teaming up with AVN to provide members with a new service: AVN Websites.

The ‘websites for accountants’ company - part of the same group as AccountingWEB - will be offering access to high quality websites, exclusively priced for AVN members, along with a practice marketing service.

The new websites will be based on a refined version of PracticeWEB’s ‘PW Lite’ model sitting on the innovative Landscape content management system. AVN members can choose from a mobile responsive website preloaded with both AVN and PracticeWEB content, a subscription to a branded factsheet and newsletter PDF service, or a combination of both services.

Accountants will also be able to pick one of six exclusive designs from which they can customise features such as logo, strapline, pictures and firm details.

Jenny Lukas, AVN head of marketing, said: “We frequently hear from our members that they want a better looking website that helps to promote their firm and bring in new leads. But they simply don’t have the time – or the expertise – to create their own website from scratch. So we joined up with PracticeWEB because they have such a great track record in this area. AVN Websites offers accountants a great looking site that’s designed to be up and running fast, pre-loaded with content that can be personalised by the firm.”

Paul Morris, head of business development at PracticeWEB, added: “For accountants to be able to practice excellence they need to know that the basics are covered.

“Each service is offered at an exclusive price and will help members showcase their firms with the best possible marketing without the need for vast resources.”

Asked whether the deal was a direct play to reach the small practitioner market, Morris said the AVN relationship was a continuation of their wide offering.

“The smaller end of the market still wants the PracticeWEB product and PW Lite has been our response to cater for these owner/managers and independents,” he said.

AVN, who’s founder Steve Pipe was a judge in AccountingWEB’s Practice Excellence Awards last year, helps its members become “truly excellent” through its AVNExcellence programme.

Lukas added: “AVN Websites fits in beautifully as it gives our members a modern, professional online presence that they can use to generate more of the right kind of business.”

Non-AVN accountants can also take advantage of the PW Lite offering from PracticeWEB.
