PwC Scotland head in bid to join Rangers board

Rangers FC has confirmed that it is considering a request to add former PwC Scotland head Frank Blin and others to its board of directors.

Blin, one of four the investors want brought in so the board can operate “more efficiently” worked at PwC from 1998, when Coopers & Lybrand, which he had been with since the late 1970's was acquired by the then Price Waterhouse.

He managed the merger and has since held a number of roles in the Big Four firm, including executive chairman, Scotland and senior UK client relationship partner.

Blin was also a member of the UK board and head of UK regions for PwC in 1998 to 2008 following the acquisition.
