Like the 25,000 plus similar sized accounting practices our franchises’ tax filing needs are relatively straight forward and simple.
We have clients who need self-assessments and corporation tax returns filed!
We want a system that is value for money and easy to use with no fuss, bother or extensive training.
We researched the market looking for a solution that met the franchisee (sole practitioner) needs and selected:
BTC Software
Why?
Here are 10 reasons for our decision, in no particular order:
- Simple to load and use software
- A very affordable, value for money product
- Cost per client is easily absorbed into our fees
- We don’t pay for ‘whistle and bells’ functionality that we will never use
- BTC software are proactive, friendly and approachable
- The service is excellent!
- They understand us, our size of practice and our market
- The product does what it needs to without any messing around or faffing when new, statutory requirements are introduced
- BTC software come to us with ideas just like our file only self-assessment product
- We are not a small fish in a large pond to them – we do matter
They seem very good reasons to me to select the product!

The Associates used a variety of systems. Most now use BTC or will changing at their next renewal.
Have you also gone for Practice Management as well?
Some have but we have our own in house system as well.

One of the firms who we work closely with has just started using BTC and is impressed. But, I am going to see I get on with Keytime for the Crunchers accounting franchise.
