An accountant in business

I've been blogging on my website www.formationsdirect.com for some time with my non-PC view of the world of economics,business and other stuff. If you like to read the views of somebody who doesn't "toe the party line" you've come to the right place. I'm off on holiday shortly so don't expect much until the end of August. By then I'm sure there'll be plenty of government cock-ups, financial turmoil and business scandals for me to write about.

Oh, just before I go , has anybody else noticed that the Euro debacle proves that policiticans make lousy decisions that fly in the face of common sense and established economic theory simply to justify the end of their own glory ? Of course , the architects of such stupid ideas aren't around to clear up the mess. We had a narrow escape in this country amongst the hubris of the Blair government ambitions.

Instead of hand wringing in Whitehall it's time to get tough and use the methods we are familiar with to disperse rioters abroad. Times have changed and it si time to move wih the times. Unless of course the government is happy to see the country trashed because it will create spending to fix it all.

The police don't cope at the best of times because of the useless red tape they are bound up in (thanks Mr Blair) so there's no chance now. You try ringing 999 tonight to report a suspicious person loitering in your garden and I bet you the operator will tell you "the're on the way" and when you ring back 30 mins later to ask where they are you'll be told "there's a major incident in town..."

Bring on the tear gas , water cannon , baton rounds and the troops.

our leaders are totally out ofn touch with most peoples realities on the streets of London........

Boris johnson wasnt interested.

david cameron was shown up again this time by theresa May....

what can you.say politics died with the use of the press and spin doctors/special advisers like andy coulson, rupert murdochs empire etc etc etc.

we live in such a politically correct legislature;

our police have neither resources or authority or respect in the neighborhoods to attract any sort of support. tear gas went out with internment in Northern Ireland

Having read more papers than usual while on holiday all I can say is that the politicians won't admit that they have no answer

As you say - we are politicall correct and hence impotent in this country

If there is no sanction that hurts people their worst animal instincts come to the fore given an opportunity

When will it kick off again ?
