Dilemma

My thoughts are in a dilemma:

I love(d) Top Gear and will really miss it, but then you can't go around punching people at work can you..

Interesting to see what the three of them do next.

I believe RH and JM's contracts are up soon and they won't be continuing the show with the BBC. I bet ITV, Channel 4 etc must be circling like vultures at the minute.

Good riddance to him. That sort of thuggish behaviour shouldn't be tolerated. He always comes across as the sort of person who thinks it's clever to stir up trouble and then pretends he was misunderstood when someone complains. Naughty schoolboy except he's far too old. There are plenty of good presenters out there who could do a better job.

I agree that it was thuggish behaviour and the punishment was correct.

I don't think it will work with a replacement though. It will be even more difficult for it to work if they have to find three new presenters. You only have to watch the American Top Gear to see that it just isn't the same.

A worldwide smash hit for the BBC and they've thrown it away over an argument over hot food.

Let's hope they don't expect an increase in the licence fee to cover their losses.

The sooner its privatised the better.
