I have a practice with one member of staff.
I really admire people who get things done. They plan and do. I plan and do a bit and then do a bit again and never finish.
Is this the difference between successful people and people who are not a success? Successful people do the things they don't like doing first? They keep it at this till the horrible tasks are done. These tend to make a major difference to their success.
I use to be really focused at one time . I use to get things done as well. I do not know what is going on in my brain now. I cannot work out what has changed.
This holiday period was meant to be a clear out weekend. It turned out to be eating a lot and watching telly a lot weekend. What a waste of time!
I have read the books on time management. I know what I should be doing. I am not doing it. Once again and moaning about it on my blog.
Infact not doing the tasks I should be doing is more stressful since I keep thinking about them and mentally kicking myself.
Another wasted day today.
Okay I will set my Alarm tomorrow for 6 ( no 6 is too early 7) and cycle to the office (assuming no rain). I should be in the office at 9. Work till 1pm. Get back home and do the domestic chores I have been putting off. That's the plan....
In order for me relax I need to get some key tasks out of the way.
