How to liven up your website and social media with bitesize tutorials

Creating video content for your website has never been easier. There are many suppliers of screen capturing software which have inexpensive and in some cases, free software that will enable you to record your tutorial to be uploaded to your website or Facebook page. It is standard for these software packages to allow you to record your voice whilst sharing your screen with the viewer, which is perfect for basic software tutorials.

Screen capture software is a personal preference of mine, as I suspect no-one wants to see my ugly mug plastered over the internet. The tutorials I have provided in the past capture the activity on my screen while recording my voice over a period of up to 5 minutes. This can be a really effective way of providing your audience with a sneak peak at bookkeeping software they might be interested in or providing guidance on the use of free spreadsheet tools available on your website.
