Why do we struggle to win new clients?

Because we either don’t know why we’re superior to the existing accountant or we don’t think we are superior to the existing accountant or both.

Regardless of the reason for it, it’s not going to get any better until we a) expose ourselves to more opportunities b) practise our abilities in converting those opportunities and c) understand how to translate our technical skills into the results that the client wants from working with us.

Today’s To-Do

Set up a new client meeting role play with a trusted colleague or associate and privately put yourself to the test on the training ground rather than rehearse on ‘match-days’.
