Playing by the rules - whose rules ?

France and Germany would have totally ignored the ECJ ruling on Abu Qatada and bought him a one way ticket to Amman .  But of course the British play by the rules because that's what we do isn't it ? It's about time the country that invented cricket and the Queensbury rules learned that the world has moved on and the boundaries of fair play have shifted somewhat. We all know that whatever Jordan scribbles on a piece of paper is worthless but who cares outside the judicial chamber of the ECJ - perhaps they are looking at substance over form ?

I've been blogging on my website www.formationsdirect.com for some time with my non-PC view of the world of economics, business and other stuff. If you like to read the views of somebody who doesn't "toe the party line" you've come to the right place. Government cock-ups, financial turmoil , business scandals and people's behaviour - I've got something to say about it , whether you like it or not.
