There is a popular section on another website entitled 'Today I Learned' - abbreviated to TIL.
Well, in my case, TIL that I can add these new large indoor trampoline parks to the list of things I have no aptitude for. Also on this list are such historical things as skateboards and pogo sticks.
I managed OK, my 9 year old wasn't completely mortified - but no way near as good as other parents I could see who seemed to bounce happily from one trampoline to another effortlessly.
Hey ho - we can't be good at everything I suppose.
On a work front, I learned that I hate being 'sold to' - whether that be photocopiers, phones, electricity etc.
I get that we need these things - I just hate the whole interaction of the process. Having had a short Easter break, I resolve to go back to work with new determination to be master of these kind of things, rather than dread the phone calls from all the reps.
