Week 6 Self Weekly Weigh-in

This week’s loss I admit means it is slow progress but evidence shows people who lose 1 to 2 lbs a week tend to maintain their weight loss. Unless of course you are a celebrity like Pauline Quirke (well done!) but let’s face it she would get lots of well-deserved extra support to promote the company she lost the weight through.

As of today I have a total of 36 lbs to lose to reach my target weight. If we take an average weekly loss of 1 lb a week, I will reach my target in 9 months. My birthday is in September, it would be fantastic for my confidence if I celebrate the day that gets me to a full year near my death with feeling good. It also means that I have reached my 2013 target before the end of the year.

In terms of my eating pattern, only on a couple days I change my normal Ploughman’s French Bread Stick lunch (600 calories) to cereal. By 4pm I was starving on those days. My bread stick keeps me going through to dinner time. Apart from this nothing else changed.

My target for next week if weather allows is 5 days of cycling to work, 5 days of resistance training and one pound weight loss.

This week’s result– Loss 1 lb

Total Weight loss to date: 17 lbs

This week’s Weight:12 stones and 8 lbs

Cycled to work : 32 miles ( 4 day x 8 miles per day)

Resistance training: 1 time this week

Target Weight: 10 stones
