Would you employ Alex Salmond as a practice manager ?

Perhaps I could even ask if you would employ him to mow your lawn . But the point I am making is that you can have osmebody in a senior position or a position of trust , such as a practice manager , whose judgment seems to be more geared to what suits them as opposed to what is in your best interests and that of your clients . How long do you wait until you step in and lay down the law ?

It can be very tricky in disciplinary matters to pinpoint self-interest and ego trips until it is too late and the damage is done . It's your future they are gambling with .

By the way , if it is a "yes" vote what happens to my passport ?

A joke I know but...

At a business event I attended a couple of days ago the question of passports came up. The answer being that no one knows yet until the finer details are decided.

But what is of concern was a comment made by a member whose friend lived on what will be the 'border' and they are v worried. Every morning they will leave England to drive across the border into a foreign country named Scotland. They work in what will be a separate country from their country of residence.

The thoughts of Gibraltar and Spain come to mind.

Driving along the A31 through the New Forest a couple of days ago the BBC Radio Solent presenter was talking to listeners who couldnt understand what all the fuss was about as they had been independent from GB for years.....Isle of Wight. Portland has also been independent for years and we know about Wales.

Passport

You could always apply for political asylum. Obviously as a non EU citizen you won't be able to work here.

As for driving north of the border to work I'm sure this won't be a problem as all businesses will relocate south of the border!

Alex Salmond is a clever and passionate orator who has been underestimated by the other parties. I would employ him to sell my car!
