July 18 - I remain off work.

I have no idea why. Nor does anyone else. My spirit is willing, and I am doing what I can from home for the team. But my flesh is not cooperating.

As yet tests do not say why I am so laid low that doing very much exhausts me.

June 29 - Done the second round of meetings - but the good news is the simple one - which is that most of the right people have already indicated they're applying for the jobs I'd like them to go for.

The only plus was I could do childcare for our sick offspring.

This has not been much fun. I didn't realise quite how worn out I was.

I have been good: I've gone home every afternoon this week. Then I've had a very pleasant snooze, after which I've been reinvigorated and have done some really good thinking.

June 11 - I had no intention of taking the whole of last week off. Two days of bank holiday was to be my half term. And then I went and got ill.

May 29 - I appreciated the contributions of those who commented on my last post. Both comments were insightful concerning the use of consultants.

The consensus was clear and as that if I / we know what we want to do we don't need a consultant.
