October 6 – AM has presented me with an uncalled for, but none the less completely welcome business plan for the division she is taking over from Newc.
October 5 – Out much of the day and my dongle would not work.
October 2 – I slept on the bank problem. And I wasn’t happy.
The more I thought about it the less likely it seemed to me that this was an error here. We have no audit trail for this in our system – and should have, of course.
With the Chair looking after me, I'm dealing with others.
After much negotiation we have a date for a board meeting.
I try to do this diary daily. There are good reasons for doing so. I use it time after time as a point of reference for my own thinking. And writing it sorts out that thinking, giving me a perspective on the day I would not otherwise have.
We've won the dispute with the new customer on power supply. Three site visits proved their logic was just daft, and they gave way.
That as first good news of the day.
Second good news of the day was recovery of a debt I really thought was a goner. These things always please me.

No doubt having seen her former spouse's response to my request she has now delivered her reply.
She's happy to release me and sees all the benefits - she thinks we all know them now
East has been leading the team working on the planned roll out for the major new client. He and Hitchin's #2, who is covering for that team, plonked down in my office yesterday afternoon, looking like unhappy guys.
There's some deal in the US political scene called a pork belly arrangement I think. It seems to be that any law can be passed so long as those who oppose are bought off with special case provisions, often wholly unrelated to it but built in anyway.
