I do think. I sometimes wonder of that’s my problem. If I spent less time thinking I might do more doing (even if aimlessly) and I might have more time playing (aimless, but well worthwhile).

December 1 - I have noted the many comments on my management of my IT manager with stress on here.

I have to say I do understand stress. I have witnessed it at close hand in my family.

November 24 – What does happen to time now? I claim to be bored, and I am aware now that in a very real way this is true, and yet at the same time I am rushed off my feet.

November 21 – My missing IT manager returned to work today, simply to report that he has been signed off for a month with stress.

November 20 – (21 by the time I get round to posting this).

It’s back to weekend working. Beggars can’t be choosers and when people demand quotes at ridiculously short notice we try to do them these days.

November 15 - I had arranged to see my IT person this morning, following up on yesterday.

He called in sick. He's got stress.

So have I.

And I'm not terribly understanding of stress that comes on when there are questions to answer.

November 14 - I thought I'd found a way to add value with our kit last week, as I mentioned.

November 8 - There was no good reason why I spent part of today with our manufacturing and reconditioning  team - except that they are one of our most overlooked bunch of people and it was simply time I gave them some attention.

November 4 – I might say I’m bored, but there are times when this place just makes me really proud.

One of our people recently achieved something really important for them – and made a big breakthrough in the voluntary work they do.
