Working as an accountant should be fun!

 I used to work for a firm whose mission statement was “Working for us should be fun! If it does not make money it is not fun.” That seemed like a pretty good mission statement to me (and actually they lived up to it pretty well – we had some awesome times and a lot of laughter). Today in the office we had more laughter than the average accountant would have in a lifetime.

Lots of laughter etc. Altogether it has been an awesome week – we started off with some timed practice exam papers from the ACCA – you remember the sort that take three hours to complete. The only trouble is the time allocation from the examiner is reduced to two hours. (I told them it was character building). We also had half day on contentious items in accounts files. To top it all we finished off with a session for the managerial staff on the practice assurance guidelines – awesome! If you want to take advantage of our free seminar “how to have fun in the accountancy profession” give me a call. We can be contacted via:
