Don't Blackberry users drive you mad?
There's a problem with this new software: it tells the truth. If I post a blog for one day the next day on the old AccountingWEB software I could just re-set the clock. As far as I know I can't do that here (and if I can - someone tell me how to do it!). Which begs the topical question, is such transparency a good thing?
Well, maybe. It just means I will have to be more honest about the fact that this blog is not my main occupation (surprise, surprise) and fits in between doing other things. Yesterday I was at meetings. It's entirely true I could have had the trust Samsung NC10 out on the desk all day (actually, I did some of the time), but dealing with the odd email request to support the presentation I'm making is one thing, writing a blog in a meeting may be as anti-social as those who spend whole meetings fiddling with Blackberries under the desk and think no one notices.
Which drives me mad!
As my old deputy head teach used to say "Don't do it!". And I'll tell you, we didn't.
