I think any business just to stay afloat needs to be on a continuous recruitment drive. Otherwise lost customers will not be replaced and the business will eventually be left with customers that just do not generate enough revenue to make it worthwhile.

This blog is intended to show the highs and lows I face day-to-day working as an ambitious and highly driven small practice owner.
My blogs will be both professional and personal. What happens in my personal life affects my professional life and vice versa.
Just covering one aspect and not the other means that I will not learn how to improve and change.
My key motivation for blogging is constant and never ending improvement. Writing helps me to do this.

There has been an immediate benefit for me as result of weight loss achieved so far. I am finding walking up a steep hill so much easier. Further, overall I am just feeling better about myself.

This week I had more than normal number of calls from potential clients. Each of these client is understandably calling more than one accountant.
Last weekend, I started to read up on how some people have organised themselves through their far less paper approach in their personal lives.
Today and yesterday I worked from my home. Terrible!
I did it for three years and I could not wait to find an office. AW good as it is was just not enough. I needed to see and talk to people.

Over the past few days I spent a considerable amount of time reviewing practice management software that would work for us.
I really did not want to weigh-in this morning since I did not want to face reality.
My food intake went up. Further, it did not help with my water consumption going down.
I have to put on weight this week. I will move on and make sure that next week is a loss.
