Stories which are sometimes funny, sometimes weird, but always entertaining - and just right for bedtime. There might be an underlying business purpose from time to time as well, but you'll have to decide that for yourself.
The Mud King
Once upon a time there was a boy and his friends who loved to play king of the castle. They would spend hours knocking each other off the hill and trying to get back on top. However, one day, there was a new child who took over the game. He was covered in mud from head to toe and no one knew where he had come from.
The new person was a terrible sport. He got everyone's clothes full of mud, pulled on the girls pony tails and didn't play by the rules of the game. Everyone complained but he kept on as before, and eventually no one played on the hill anymore.
One little boy complained to his dad about how their fun had been spoilt. His dad just said, 'wait and see what happens.'
So, taking his dad at his word, the little boy stood by the hill every day before and after school. Still the muddy boy was there, running around like crazy shouting 'I'm the king of the castle,' even when no one was there.
The boy told his dad there didn't seem to be anything happening. 'Just wait and see,' was all his dad said again.
Everyone was getting frustrated and wanted to play their favourite game and some people started to talk about beating up the new child, or trying to find his parents. 'Just wait and see,' the little boy said.
Finally, the day came when there was a huge rain storm. Still the muddy child stayed on his hill. But he was getting smaller! The more it rained, the smaller he got. And within a short time he was no longer there at all. He had disappeared.
And no one ever saw him again.
