4 Critical Challenges Accountants Face - Which Stifle Their Growth

If you ever read one of my 10x10 Guide for Accountants Practice Sales and Marketing or attended one of my seminars, then you will know that I enjoy spending time in the 'trenches' working with accountants to improve their practices. Whilst doing this my team and I keep coming across the same four challenges faced by all accountants, I've listed them below:

1)      Not having enough prospects registering on your website or engaging your services
You need the right marketing materials, guides, fact sheets and tools aimed solely at problem solving – demonstrating your expertise and range of services.

2)      Not having enough time to follow up with prospects and finding that when you do they have gone cold
You need a complex follow up series of emails and products, keeping you at the forefront of the prospects mind, and helping convert prospects, so when you do call them/they call you, they are already well along the path of confidence in your services.

3)      Tempting prospects to want to find out more about your services

You need marketing tools that will help build a solid opt-in prospect database of hot potential clients.

4)      Not keeping engaged with clients or prospects
You need value-driven e-newletters and broadcasts to not only keep clients/prospects engaged, but which are tailored to help promote additional services and products automatically.

There are only 4 listed!!!!! But they are completely critical to your practice success, but when an accountant starts to try to solve them and implement the solutions above they often come unstuck!

Sooner rather than later they realise that if they are truly going to solve these challenges it’s going to take far more time than they had thought! So most give up.

If you can overcome these 4 challenges then you will be ahead of the competition, gaining more prospects, keeping clients and increasing GRF.
