Chartered Accountants Ireland to cut 11 jobs

Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) will shed 11 jobs by the end of the year as part of €1m cutbacks.

Five new posts will be created however, focussing on developing the professional body’s profile and member engagement, including social media presence.

The CAI said the job cuts are necessary due to the economic crisis in Ireland and part of an overall plan to save money.
