Chart of Accounts

I have designed a chart of accounts for a client that I would like to use for another. Is it possible to export then import a chart of accounts?

Is this to replace an existing Chart of Accounts or an additional COA?  Are the nominal codes the same for both clients?

Nominal accounts are the same

Nominal accounts are the same. It is an additional Chart of Accounts in both companies.

In which case, copy the files CATEGORY.DTA and 2.COA from the ACCDATA folder of the existing client to the ACCDATA folder of the other client (take a backup first)
