Customer Delivery Addresses
Hi
I know Sage 50 supports multiple delivery addresses for customers, but wondered if there is a limit on the number of delivery addresses you can assign to one customer? Sage's own support site doesn't seem to give an answer, and a google search just quotes "multiple addresses" on any site mentioning the subject.
Does anyone know what the limit is, if indeed there is a limit at all?
Many thanks
Paul
Address Limit
There is a technical limit, based on a field in the database, of 9999 per customer as each delivery address is given a four digit zero padded number so the numbers can be from 0001 - 9999.

Customer Delivery Address transfer
I have recently been involved in setting up a 2012 Sage for a client which had previously used version 11.
I have imported all the necessary customer and product details by using csv files. This client has a very large number of delivery addresses and also special prices. I cannot see an import field for these in any of Sage's maps.
Is there a way of transferring these across, please?
Peter
Delivery Addresses
Customer delivery addresses cannot be imported in to the program. The only way to get them in would be to have upgraded the v11 data rather than exporting and importing it.

Multiple Addresses
There does not appear to be a limit of addresses you can assign to customers on Sage 50.
Every time you create a new address it adds it to the list, ordered by Description Name. It doesnt give the address a number reference or order them as they are entered which suggests to me there is no limit inbuilt into the system.
