Multiple client update TAS BOOKS V3

I have just received an email from TAS about upgrading my network mulit user TAS Books V2 to V3. Apparently you have to upgrade each client separately on the primary PC before accessing any of the data files. Each update takes 20-30 minutes depending on data file size. I have 60 client data files so I will have to spend 3 - 4 days solid on the primary PC to get my data files updated. Support did say that an alternative would be to upgrade each client as you went along but they wouldn't confirm by email I could do this safely and stressed that it was an alternative method "for someone who was desparate to access one client". I do not know when I will get 3 - 4 days to update all my client data files so it looks like I will be staying with V2 for some time !. Any feedback from other multiple client users who will encounter the same problem have updated their client data files would be welcome. TAS how about supplying a auto routine for us multiple client users that will update ALL data files one after the other and we can run overnight or over a weekend ?

always an issue

Updates are always an issue for us network users, Auto-Update has the ability to really mess up data files if users hit the wrong button at the wrong time.

With a Client Server product like this we need a way of updating all the data in one go then the clients can be updated individually as they login to the new datasets
