A new low!

I would like to suggest that HMRC's Debt Management have reached a new low. They are now placing collection calls to agents from a contact centre outside Glasgow (08453021427) on Sundays. Silly to take the call I know, but disgusted at the temerity of the management at the centre. A new way to harass the little people while letting the big money slip through their fingers.

A client of mine had an enquiry into 2010, it concluded 23 Jan and she paid over the tax due straight away. Then she got a letter from Debt Management, dated late Jan referring to a "debt that has been outstanding for some time"
