REVIEW 2: Absolute Certainty by John Haylock
Accountingweb member lisimano provides us with her view of Absolute Certainty by John Haylock:
Wilcoskip gives a good portrayal of the premise of the book, so it seems unnecessary to go over old ground.
Therefore, here is my opinion on how enjoyable and useful the book is:
I don't think this book will tell you anything you don't know already, if you are fairly modern in your approach to running a small practice.
What is does do is remind you, in very easily digestible terms, that you are probably not putting what you know into practice.
This is a book that can easily be read in one or two sittings and I agree with wilcoskip that it is the kind of book that you can return to and dip into.
After reading the book I was determined that I would follow up on a couple of ideas and implement them into my own practice, and I do intend to, once another hideous January is over.
Who knows - maybe next January will be different if I implement some of the ideas - it works in the book!
Definitely worth a read!
