Review of the Year

Getting my degree and starting my Masters.

Growing cucumbers for the first time - well I thought it would be a little harder than just shoving the plants in some compost and occasionally remembering to water them!

Yeah, I admit I don't appear to have saved the world, cured cancer or established peaceful contact with aliens from another planet. Maybe I need to look at my goals for 2012 again...

But I'm still alive, healthy enough, very contented with my lot and I've made a few people laugh. I haven't committed any crimes other than speeding (and I do try to slow down), haven't intentionally harmed (physically or emotionally) anyone (except possibly one person on here who gives far better than they get & I am trying to refrain from being provoked) and have attempted in a small way to make others' lives slightly better. It could be a lot worse :)

Flash saved us all twice this year from the end of the world.

PS Cheque is definitely on its way.

Others could include (contentiously or not)

• Cameron saying No to Europe!
• The almost discovery of the Higgs boson
• Henry's successful takeover from Becky on Aweb

Lowlights could include

• The ongoing lack of success of our various professional bodies in standing up to HMRC
• The continuing lack of confidence in the economy
• The Royal wedding.

Henry is doing a great job, but he will never be as pretty as Becky though - :o)

Nevermind OGA, at least we've got you.
