So what if your return hasn't been done, you're only a figment of my imagination anyway until you prove otherwise.

Shouldn't that be... "You should have responded to our numerous reminders sooner ... My fees have now doubled"  ?

No! I can't do the employed pages from just a payslip (as I told one client today).

... I could go on forever!

Even if it was a March payslip?

 If they really, really, couldn't get a P45/P60 then I would ring HMRC for the data. I have done them from payslips ...  but with plenty of comments in the white space, and only where the company went bust or 'disappeared' and HMRC didn't have any data.

I am of the persuasion that if I start cutting corners to save the client having to make a bit of effort, then they will always expect me to cut corners so they don't have to make the effort to get me the correct records.
