I am normally sceptical of this type of publication. Written by Michael Watkins - a "leadership-transition guru". I was intrigued.

The book covers a number of areas that we all could face during our career, particularly following promotion and leading former peers following promotion etc.

By using real life examples and case studies the book covers the situations facing you during transition and suggests strategies and tools to help you continue in your move up the ladder.

I found this book to be a useful insight and could also identify situations I have personally faced and how perhaps I could have dealt with these better / more productively.

A recommended read.
