Email notification of posts no longer shows the content of the post

When I get an email to alert me of a new posting to a thread I am following, it no longer tells me what the thread says. This often means I l do not log in to read it because it is too much hassle.

Why can't we have the content of the post in the email?

Thanks for the feedback. We are aware of this issue and it is being dealt with.

We are commencing on a series of updates and improvements to the site (some of which were suggested by members) in August. The alerts are one of these and we will be changing these so that they give more information in future.

notification emails need to take us to the post, not to the control panel, because we have no idea where the post is. Thank you.
