There is also issues about the decision in the recent case on the seizure of documents- R(on the application of Glenn & Co (Essex) ltd) v HMRC (2010[EWHC 1469 (admin)], 18 June 2010- and in particular what is a document?

inordinate and obstinate
this is is under "old rules" for 01/02 & 07/08
We are getting unnecessary grief from local inspectors treating small one man bands who we do the vat for as capricous and negligent. Our records are reliable theirs are "incomplete". The inspectors seem to have no knowledge of the emotional caosts of running a business alone let alone the financial costs.
