IR35 reform group
For more than a decade, IR35 has been a dominant feature on AccountingWEB - from the notorious 1999 Budget press release that gave the measure its name, to the long-running Arctic Systems case right up to the Coalition government's 2011 vow to "review" the measure and improve the way it works. Many would argue that that is a central fallacy in the government's small business tax policy. But the government is forging ahead with its plans. Following further signals in the 2012 Budget, this group has been formed in response to numerous member requests for a forum where those who want to resolve the IR35 issue can share their ideas and arguments.
