Agent codes

From memory it took 2 weeks or so for them to come through from the CAA team.

I can't remember exactly, but think it took about a month.

The letter with the codes came from Customer Operations, CAAT Agent Maintainer BP2302 in Longbenton but there is no number on the letter they sent :( Could you try calling Newcastle office directly and asking to be transferred? Alternatively call the agent line.

I contacted Agent Maintainer on the 3 Sept, and I got my SA Agent's ref on the 9th Sept by fax and letter.

Contact details may have changed since it was Agent Maintainer Tel 0845 302 1442.

I received the SA very quickly but for Corporation tax the information on the HMRC website was different from what was actually done. The staff I spoke didnot seem to understand the changes then in 2009 whether the request should be made to the centralised office or local Corporation tax office. I eventually got it after some time.

I agree with the last comment, although it was quite a struggle to discover the process for contact and applications, once I did the SA was quite straight forward.
