QuickBooks Training Manual
I am about to launch a computerised accounts course based on QuickBooks. Because most of the trainers of computerised accounts base their courses on sage, i am having to write my training manuals.
Has any one come across QB based training material that would be used by a college to deliver computerised accounts courses that lead to NVQ qualifications?
On the other hand do you think this is fools errand and I should stick with Sage?
QB Training
You could try contacting Alta Training who in the past I know have done quite a lot of QB training. www.alta-training.com. I have never actually used them but came across them at a QB PA event some time ago.
Also, are you a QB PA? If not then check out the Intuit Website for more info. The cost is much less than Sage Accountants Club and the benefits are as good.
QB Training
Absolutely push this forward if you can. It's about time that Sage was toppled from its stranglehold on colleges and finance training in the UK.
Alta Training
Cancel that website suggestion, I just went there and they seem to have gone out ot business. Their front page is there but the phone number doesn't work and the links don't go anywhere! Sorry!
I am Encouraged
Thanks for all your comments. I am actually quite encouraged to go ahead with this work.
sometimes when you are sitted in the middle of the night writing this material you wonder whether you are not wasting your sleep
I may come back to ask members to review my material before I launch it.
Thanks a lot

It's worth doing
I think it's a very good idea.
If you do a search for US training materials for QuickBooks you will find some which may help you but there is very little UK help. QuickBooks most be gaining customers while Sage must be losing them but it remains to be seen what effect the cloud has on accounting software.
