helplines advice
we are a small practice (two partners AAT) no staff
Does anyone utilise any advice helplines or other companies/practices specialist services
I have some IR35 issues and investigation issues that I would like to get some specialist advice on as I do not have the knowledge in house I have seen a few companies online but has anyone had any experience of using any of them in the past.
The clients are happy to pay for the added knowledge but we dont want to lose our clients to these practices
Thanks
Ben
Cch
CCH have a great tax advice line, which we have used on many an occasion.
They are great. Not sure how much they cost though, and they certainly can't poach your clients.
Recommendation
Can recommend Bauer & Cottrell as IR35 specialists.
peninsula taxwise?
I am about to sing for their fee insurance. They offer a helpline - any good?

tax advice etc
I am in the process of setting up my own practice, so personally cannot help you.
But, in doing my start up research, I've noticed a few people comment on Nichola Ross Martin tax advice/support practice, but you need to subscribe to it.
Surely though, an ethical accountant would not poach your clients. Why not approach a local tax specialist and get a quote for their help.
