New to VT+
Hi Everyone
I have just purchased VT+ and it will be used in accountancy practice.
As most of you know client brings his documents in a carrier bag and this has to be turn into proper accounts.
My question is; what is the best approach using VT+ to prepare accounts from these documents?

As Above...
Dear Blackfalcon,
As posted by aadil, it's much the same process as with any other accounts software. With VT you basically have two options:
1. create a VT Transaction + file and journal in the income, receipts etc, then transfer into VT Final Accounts;
2. enter straight into VT Final accounts as an ETB.
An accountant friend of mine prefers method one (but then all adjustments go back into VT Transaction +) whereas I tend to opt for method two (which basically harks back to the old days of using basic spreadsheets).
In practice, I tend to use a combination of the two, depending on the client, amount of information provided etc.
Either way, it's an excellent piece of software, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
I hope that's helped you out a little bit...
Regards,
Paul
payments and receipts option
If the client doesn't operate a business bank account, which is normally the case with a bag of receipts, we sort, and use the payments & receipts option to enter.

This is more of a methodolgy question rather than a VT question. The approach would be the same as for any software.
Sort the records---->File---->Process into the software
