Welcome new members

As I mentioned in a post last week over on Any Answers, we've got discussion groups for all sorts of different accounting application. Since VT has such a large and enthusiastic community among AccountingWEB.co.uk members, it seemed only natural to open one up for them too.

Philip Hodgson is also an active participant on the site, so this may be a very good way to let him know about your wishlist wants and innovative ideas.

At the moment, I'm concentrating on finding people to join the group, but will be back to add my own thoughts as the conversation develops. I'm also on the lookout for someone who would be willing to take over as group manager. It's not too arduous a responsibility - you just need to make sure the conversations keep ticking over and on a constructive plain.

If you'd be interested in taking this on, please let me know by posting your interest below and I can send a short guide that tells you what is expected. If several people are interested in the role, we can put it to a vote of group members.
