AccountingWEB's iXBRL archive
I've been writing about XBRL for more than 10 years, but it was only when HMRC decided in 2009 to adopt the "inline" variant as the mechanism for Corporation Tax efiling that AccountingWEB members started to take an interest. Since then, nearly 100 articles and queries have appeared on the site.
To access this archive, visit our iXBRL index page. If you post a query or see an item that you think should appear there, just put "iXBRL" in the data entry box in the blue panel at the end of the item, and it will be added to the tagged iXBRL collection.
Here are some of the key guides that may help with your iXBRL education and implementation:
- What you need to know about iXBRL
- Online filing for companies
- A guide to iXBRL-compatible CT efiling tools
- A guide to integrated accounts/CT iXBRL tools
- What you need to know about iXBRL tagging
- A brief guide to iXBRL options
- Companies House aims for mandatory efiling by 2013
