How much does membership cost?
Membership to AccountingWEB is free, as is subscription to our Newswires (with the exception of the TaxZone Newthwire and the Financial Reporting and Audit Alerts). There are resources you can purchase on the website but you will be clearly warned if any cost is to be incurred.
Why do you want all this information from me?
AccountingWEB is a global community with over 90,000 members, we use profile information to tailor our service to your interests. As our membership is free, along with many of the documents in our library, we think this is a small price to pay for such a wealth of data.

Are my details secure?
Yes. You may notice that when you go to your profile page that you get taken to a different URL, which begins 'https://' this means that you are now in a secure server area and your details, including bank details, are safe. When logging in, you may be told that you entering or leaving a secure area. This is nothing to worry about; it is just your internet browser letting you know what's happening in the background. I have forgotten my password - can I be reminded of it?
No problem, just click here to visit our forgotten login page. There you can have your username and password sent to the email address you registered with. If you have changed your email address or have any other problems then email service@accountingweb.co.uk providing details of your query.
Why do the provided login details not work?
Our authentication system is case sensitive so be sure you are entering your details correctly. Also be mindful of spaces, full stops, commas and the like. If you are still

How can I change my details?
You can change all of your details (except login name) at any time by updating your profile.
Why am I not receiving the Newswires?
Your email address may be misspelt or you may have changed email addresses since registering. Visit your profile and check that it contains the correct address. There are other possible causes:

Credit card/invoice billing - when do I get billed?
What is meant by 'minimum spend' when paying by purchase order?
You may notice when setting up a purchase order that a minimum charge of £20 per month can apply.
This means that if a customer paying by purchase order spends less than £20 in a month, the payable amount will be rounded up to £20. This ONLY applies when making a purchase; if you do not purchase anything you will not be billed at all.
What does licence period mean?
The licence period shown for the particular resource you are interested in buying means that once you have bought the resource you can access this resource as frequently as you wish during the licence period. In the case of software products, once you have purchased and downloaded the product to your PC or Mac you can use it as many times as you wish.
