Cookie Help
AccountingWEB's authentication system places a small text file (a cookie) on your computer.
Don't worry it doesn't contain any sensitive information. It does however, allow us to remember
who you are so you don't have to login every time you visit the site.
Choose the browser you are using for simple steps to ensure your computer is setup to allow
the use of cookies.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
- Click View, and then click Internet Options.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Scroll to the Security section.
- Under Cookies, click Always accept cookies.
- Click Ok

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
- Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Click on the Custom Level button
- Scroll down to the Cookies field
- Select Enable for both entries
- Click Ok
- Click Ok again

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x
- Click Tools, and then click Internet Options
- Select the Privacy tab
- Click on Advanced
- Locate the options for Cookies
- Set the Allow cookies that are stored on your computer option to enabled
- Click on Override Automatic Cookie Handling
- Select Enable cookies
- Click on Always allow session cookies
- Click OK
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x
- Click Tools, and then click Internet Options
- Select the Privacy tab
- Click on Advanced
- Check the 'Override Automatic Cookie Handling' box
- Ensure that the radio buttons for first and third-party cookies are set to 'Accept'
- Check 'Always allow session cookies'
- Click OK

Netscape 6.x
- Start Netscape Navigator 6.x

Netscape Navigator 4.x
- Start Netscape Navigator 4.x
- On the top menu bar, click Edit
- Then click Preferences
- Now in the Preferences dialog box, in the left side labeled Category, Click on the Advanced item
- On the right side, under Cookies, select "Accept all cookies"
- Click OK

Netscape Navigator 3.x
- Start Netscape Navigator 3.x
- On the top menu bar, click Options
- Then click Network Preferences
- Click the tab Protocols
- Make sure that the checkbox labeled "Accepting a cookie" is Not Checked
- Click OK

AOL 4.0
- Start Internet Explorer 4.x
- On the top menu bar, click View
- Then click Internet Options
- Click the Advanced tab
- Scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security and select "Always accept cookies"
- Click OK
- Due to the nature of AOL 4.0, the cookie settings in IE4 also apply to AOL

AOL 3.0
- Start the web browser
- Choose Pref
- Then click Internet Options
- Click the Advanced tab
- Scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security and select "Always accept cookies"

- Start the web browser
- Click on File
- Click Preferences
- Click on Privacy
- Scroll down to "Automatically accept all cookies" and "Accept from any server"
- Click OK
