Why should I have to join there accountants club or pay full version of the software when I only have one client using there software?
It will cost me £349 per annum just to be able to load my clients data onto my computer to prepare their accounts.

I would suggest a boycott is in oder!

Small business Software of the Year award winner
give us a call on 020 7836 7978. I am sure we can help both your and your client's business. Last week we won the Accountancy Age award so this should help you pick up the phone!

Sincerely
Mamut Software

Why not?
If you ran a garage and I asked you to service my BMW, you would need to buy some special tools. Would BMW give you a discount just because you normally deal with Fords?

THINK
you can ask your client for

a) TB
b) a hard copy of the general ledger
c) or all the reports you want dummped into excel

ignorance is apparently not bliss. god forbid your clients should boycott you

save your money
I can see no reason on earth why you should need to replicate your client's accounting system in order to be able to create year end accounts.

Even if you are using a computerised accounts production application, the most you would need is a copy of the data!
