Financial reporting briefs: March 2008

The Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP) has published its revised operating procedures for public consultation.

The new procedures feature no substantial changes, the Panel says, but it has outlined seven specific amendments. Amongst them are alterations to the circumstance in which certain FRRP cases may be made public, and clarification that the Panel will take legal advice before indicating its attention to apply to court.
