DocuSoft™ Outlook Email Manager now released

With email such an important part of everyday commerce, it has becoming increasingly important to have a slick means of filing and saving emails, together with attachments, into the relevant customer or project file.

Using some innovative techniques DocuSoft is delighted to advise the development and release of the new DocuSoft™ Outlook Email Manager. Based around the Microsoft* Outlook email client, this new Email Manager provides a number of neat and time-saving features for saving and indexing email correspondence whether incoming or outgoing.

A number of new functions comprise the DocuSoft Outlook Email Manager. These include:

  • Send multiple documents with one email via Outlook from the DocuSoft filing system.
  • Save multiple emails in one go from Outlook into the DocuSoft filing system
  • Save on Send prompt to ensure outgoing emails are not overlooked
  • Auto look-up of domain to contact/client file and adding of new email addresses ‘on-the-fly’ to make saving of email details as slick as possible. You train DocuSoft. This avoids re-keying and saves time once the email address has been ‘learnt’ by the DocuSoft system
  • Tagging in Outlook of saved emails so they are not saved twice
  • Emails each get their own unique document number in DocuSoft for full audit trail of activity through the DocuSoft workflow system
  • Emails are saved with their attachments for a true record of your communications in or out
  • Emails saved in DocuSoft and circulated via the DocuSoft workflow system are no longer being duplicated which saves valuable disk space and backup capacity
  • Content indexing of saved emails allows fast location based on any words either in the text of the email body OR attachment!
