Old and new faces join the internet accounting stampede

"Online applications do seem to be the flavour of the month," said one industry insider this week as more internet accounting providers jostle for position in this rapidly developing market. John Stokdyk reports.

Accountants themselves are leading the charge. The Stockport-based firm of TWD has been operating its TWD Online service for more than a year and boasts more than 1,000 users. They include users recruited from the firm's client base and people who have come in through its links with MSN, AOL Money and Tiscali.
