Pastel Evolution Helping NHF Brush Away Previous Accounting Software

Pastel UK & Ireland is pleased to announce it has been awarded the contract to supply Pastel Evolution software to the National Hair Federation (NHF).

With more than 7,000 members, the NHF is the biggest trade association in the industry and provides its members with support in legal, trading, personnel and insurance matters.

As a significant lobbyist for its members, the NHF has set itself the target of having more than half of all salons within its membership, which includes the late Princess Diana’s former hairdresser Daniel Galvin, Toni & Guy, Charles Worthington and Errol Douglas, by the end of 2013.

The Bedford-based NHF is cutting its ties with the existing Sun Systems software that will now be brushed away and replaced with Pastel Evolution, following the recommendation from newly installed Management Accountant Laurie Harvey and a successful demonstration by Pastel Reseller Keytime.

Laurie previously utilised Pastel Partner’s user-friendly functionality whilst working for a tea blending company and wanted to enhance the NHF’s processing with the more powerful Pastel Evolution software.

“As I have worked with Pastel in the past and found it so user-friendly I wanted to use it again and when I recommended the software to the Federation it was decided that the best option would be to go with the more advanced Pastel Evolution,” explains Laurie Harvey.

“When I have had to show staff how to use Pastel in the past they have picked it up very quickly. I have used other software, in the past and I find Pastel is much easier to use.
