Dental associate goes Limited - IR35??

I have incorporated dental practices before but a dentist working as a associate in another practise has asked me whether it would be worth while being a limited company.

Now I am not an expert on IR35 or managed/umbrella companies but this sounds too close to IR 35 to be comfortable - apart from one thing - He is of course as all dentists are Self employed

Has anyone else had expeience of this situation

can I have some opinions please

thanks in advance

No Way!

Your dentist would in my opinion certainly breach HMRC rules.
He cannot possibly claim to be a Ltd company whilst working for another dentist.
It would just be silly.
You are correct and although I am sure many accountants would be happy to assist him with his company and try and bend rules, at the end of the day he is simply using a limited company as a vehicle to pay less tax and class 4 NI.
HMRC would tear it to shreds and want the NI / extra tax etc

Dental incorporation

Stephen

I am looking at a potential incorporation of a dental practice, but have been unable to find guidance on how the NHS superannuation works in this circumstance. Practice is roughyl 50% NHS and 50% private work - does the company pay the full superannuation contribution (employers and employees)?
