BASDA Green Charter takes on global warming

Greenhouse emissions must be cut by 20% by 2020The UK business software industry has staked out a pioneering position on global warming with a Green IT Charter. John Stokdyk met the people behind it at Softworld.


Introduced by the industry trade body BASDA at Softworld in London this week, the Green IT Charter sets out four steps signatories will take to help lead the UK towards achieving a 20% reduction in greenhouse emissions by 2020.
