Gina Dyer will shortly be leaving AccountingWEB.co.uk for something bigger and better within the Sift Media portfolio. Gina has been a huge success, but her move creates the opportunity for someone to join the editorial team serving the UK’s leading online professional community for accountants.

We are looking for an ambitious business journalist to take us to new heights of influence and innovation. To be based in Bristol, the successful applicant will be methodical, intelligent and able to write about business, tax and technology topics in a clear and readable style.

As well as possessing good journalistic skills, the assistant/deputy editor will get to know community members by participating in their debates and responding to their queries.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic user of web tools and office technology; knowledge of financial reporting/audit, tax, business applications or Excel would be a bonus. The position would be suitable for a journalist keen to break into online B2B publishing, or someone with accountancy knowledge looking for a change of career direction.
