Most IFAs spend their time trying to convince Accountants to pass them clients and most Accountants spend most of their time looking for new clients, this is wrong both should be looking for new opportunities within each others client bases and how to acquire new clients.
I have a practice with 200 clients yet no accountant has ever approached me to work together?
As a chartered financial planner I am proposing a practice were both parties are equal, share clients and fees and buld a more rounded practice.
I think this is one of the best ideas I have come up with.
